"Drawing has always been a deeply meditative practice for me. I rarely approach a piece with a specific end goal in mind; instead, I allow my hand to move freely, letting the pen strokes flow without constraint. In this way, I turn off my conscious thoughts and give space to my subconscious to guide the work. When asked what my drawings depict, I often say, 'It’s whatever you want it to be.'
Though I’ve been drawing for many years, I took a four-year break during a particularly dark period in my life, one that was void of joy and creativity. Recently, I’ve emerged from this hiatus, and I’m grateful to have art once again as a means of channeling my emotions and reconnecting with the beauty in the world."
